Come and enjoy some free creative writing and storytelling workshops created for any young person!

Do you have a story to tell?

Starting 28th January, come along to Aston Library every Wednesday for some free creative writing and storytelling workshops.

These workshops have been created for any young person and are aimed at anyone interested in telling stories! Any story written will have the option to be included in a collection of stories.

Young people must attend with a parent or guardian. Permission for story donations will need to be given.

These events have been created as part of Children’s Capital of Culture’s Heritage Producer Project.

Key Details

When: 28th Jan, 4th Feb, 11th Feb, 18th Feb, 25th Feb 2026 from 15:30 to 17:30 (just drop-in!)

Where: Aston Library, Worksop Rd, Aston, Swallownest, Sheffield S26 4WD

Who: Open to young people of all ages. Young people must attend with a parent or guardian.
