Purpose
We are looking for four people aged 16 to 25 and under who would like to co-host the arena at the Rotherham Show.
The co-hosts will commentate on matches, introduce acts, and interview special guests.
The 2025 Rotherham Show will take place across 6 and 7 September at Clifton Park. The host will have a 3-hour slot either the morning or afternoon of one of the days.
Background
In 2025 Rotherham has become the world’s first Children’s Capital of Culture (CCoC). This has been designed and delivered by children and young people from the borough, enabling them to reshape Rotherham and take charge of their own future. 2025 is a transformational year of creative events that celebrates Rotherham’s identity through the fresh ideas of its young people.
Rotherham Show is the town’s (and region’s) biggest free cultural festival. It is organised by Rotherham Council and partners. It features outdoor theatre, live music, horticultural showcases, sport activities, circus, comedy, and fairground rides.
