Sound of Rotherham & Music Resources

Sound of Rotherham works with young people across Rotherham to help them express their ideas, grow in confidence, and showcase their talents through amazing performances. Professional musicians have been working with young people at Unity Gym in Rawmarsh, Clifton Learning Partnership in Clifton, and JADE Youth and Community in Dinnington to develop their musical talents, ready to perform together at Signals 2024.

The young people will be developing their performances throughout January and February, so keep an eye on our social media channels for details of when and where they’ll be debuting!

As part of the wider Rotherham Music Hub x Signals x Children's Capital of Culture initiative, a music resource called Charanga will be made available to all secondary school-age students across the borough for FREE!

Partners of Signals are working with Charanga and local schools to supply FREE access to the music production program, which can be overseen by teachers, club leaders, and tutors.
