Young Artists in Residence: Movement & Dance and Music

How to apply

To apply, please send us an expression of interest using our Contact Us form.

On the form:

  • select "general enquiry"
  • include "Chol Young Artist in Residence." in your applicantion statement

In your application statement tell us:

  • about yourself, your date of birth, and your connection to Rotherham
  • what inspired you to apply for this opportunity

  • what excites you about working with young people in Rotherham

  • what skills and ideas you would bring to either the Music or Movement and Dance role

  • If you have had any previous experiences working collaboratively in community settings or on creative projects

  • if you have any skills or experience in facilitating creative workshops in schools or community settings

If you would like to submit your application in the form of a video or audio recording instead (no more than 5 minutes long), please indicate this on the form and either provide a link, or we will provide an email address to send your video to.

A selection panel will review all applications we receive by the closing date. Interviews with shortlisted applicants will take place during the week commencing Monday 22nd September.

The Young Artist in Residence programme is being run collaboratively by Children’s Capital of Culture and Chol Theatre, with funding support from Arts Council England.
